The Mark II version of the Waveform Gateway Oscilloscope is a perfect beginner to intermediate module build, as the FNIRSI-138 Pro single trace oscilloscope that is used for this project (not included in the kit version) comes fully built and no modifications other than soldering three wires to it are needed. The instructions on how to build this can be found on our Build Guide page. The three points on the back of the unit where you solder the connections from the power board are all easily reversible, should you decide to remove it from your rack sometime in the future. You only need to build the included Waveform Power PCB, remove a few screws from the oscilloscope case, wire it up, and you’re good to go. With the lava lamp inspired fade to red light up “W” Waveform logo, and the animated waveforms, the Waveform Gateway Oscilloscope MKII looks sleek, too. Faceplate is gold + copper, and is 14HP.
